The dish, Bananas Foster originated in New Orleans, Louisiana, a key import town for bananas in the 1950s. We crafted our baby and toddler-appropriate version of this recipe with bananas, butternut squash and sweet potato, which means, shhhhhh-- your baby is eating more vegetables than fruit in this dish! (We won’t tell them if you won’t!)
